Where is the best place to see whales and dolphins in Tenerife?
The south west coast. Pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins live in these waters all year, and most whale watching boats leave from harbours in the south, a short trip from Costa Adeje, Playa de las Américas and Los Cristianos.
What excursions can I do from Costa Adeje, Playa de las Américas and Los Cristianos?
From the south of Tenerife you can book whale watching, Teide tours, jet skis, quad and buggy tours, parasailing, paragliding, kayaking, scuba diving, theme parks and evening shows. Hotel pickup is included on many excursions, and others leave from their own meeting point.
Is Mount Teide worth visiting?
Yes. Teide National Park is home to Spain’s highest peak and a volcanic landscape you will not see anywhere else on the island. You can visit on a guided coach tour, drive it yourself on a quad or buggy, or go up for sunset and stay for the stargazing.
Should I book Tenerife excursions in advance?
Yes, for the popular ones. Small group tours, private boat charters and sunset departures have limited places and fill up first, especially in high season. You only pay a small deposit to reserve, with the balance due when you arrive.
What are the best Tenerife excursions for families?
Siam Park, Loro Parque, Aqualand, Jungle Park and whale and dolphin watching are the most popular family days out. Some activities have minimum ages, so check the excursion page or ask us before you book.

Some excursions depend on the weather, and the excursion provider decides whether it is safe to go. If your trip is cancelled because of the weather, you will normally be offered a full refund, another date or another excursion of the same value.

Yes. You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your excursion. If you need to change your booking, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to move it, subject to availability.
